Kate Scurfield the comic illustrator and caricaturist of equestrian , canine and feline ‘situation comedies’ started trading as katesart.com following many years of working as cartoon contributor for leading equestrian and veterinary magazines, and exhibiting at major London Galleries and national equestrian events.  Kate set about working for Equestrian Trade News and Horse & Rider in the nineties, the former creating a partnership that lasted many years. Kate took over the regular slot at Horse & Hound from the late John Tickner,  -under the editorial stewardship of Arnie Garvey – a relationship that lasted well into the twenty-first century. After katesart.com was launched in 2003 a regular slot in Polo Times began which lasts to this day. Aside from the publishing media contributions Katesart.com is commissioned by companies selling pet products to provide images for marketing.  In 2003, katesart.com launched a range of humorous equestrian cards which were then acquired by Grays of Shenstone. Since then many leading Pet suppliers have used the katesart.com brand  – see Client List.
